Winter is a different beast on the Clare coast and most leave to safer climates inland. Leaving deserted places and adventures for the brave to find. Fleeting moments of gold and flashes of beauty as the sun breaks out are the rewards for the patient photographers. While only the few see the violent weather and surf that continues to shape the west coast of Ireland. But, the pubs are warm and alive and the fire is on, so if you're feeling brave...
